Was offered a temp job at UOB bank as a replacement of a staff who is going for maternity leave for 6 mths. Not a difficult job actually. But disappointingly, I couldn't give the interviewers a definite date of my enlistment and they had to kick me out.

Then in the afternoon I received a call from the agency telling me to go down for an interview at Paragon. I was already in the bus OTW to meet my friends for a k session. I had to give that up. Lucky I was on the same bus to Paragon. When I was there, he made me wait 1hr for the interview. I had to roam about Paragon and I was somehow drawn to the toriyaki stall, so I sat down and had a toritaki don. Time passed so quickly and I went back to find him. So he told me that I just have to arrange stuffs and do other assisting jobs. Signed the 3 mths contract and work starts tomorrow.

I had a great night out with some friends today. Went to Central for dinner at Pasta de Waraku and then we sat down under the "Sakura trees" for a "Hanami" over a nice cone/cup of Hokkaido ice cream. Yumz~ and we chatted for a long time, like we always do :) Lost track of time and we headed back home pretty late.

Now I present to you some WACKY snacks I got from my NIPPON trip.

Sakura Prawn Crackers

Weird! Really weird at first! It taste like sour expired crackers but its still crispy and prawny. But after a few more bites, it gets better... but still weird! I always got this feeling that sakura will taste sweet and strawberry-like kind but I was wrong! When I first tasted the Sakura ice cream at Kawagoe, it changed my perception of it 180 degrees. It taste like herbs, at the same time a very flowery smell. Its ok to have it on sweet stuffs. But not on prawn crackers please...

Disney Japanese Rice Crackers

I bought it because its cute. The cracker taste just like any other ordinary typical Japanese rice cracker. But its molded in to Mickey's head! I also like the packaging. I ate all the crackers already but kept the box. Haha... So Japlish lor.

Caramel Coffee OREO Bar

Nice one! Bought it from the 100yen shop. Its damn nice! They should bring this in lor! I got another 2 more bars of different flavors. Hopefully its still in the fridge. I really like this one! Must try it when you are in Japan.
